Japan Airlines or JAL is the largest carrier in Asia. Japan Airlines, the largest airline of Japan is based on the city of Tokyo. The chief hub of Japan Airlines is Tokyo International Airport along with another hub at Narita International Airport. Two companies, Japan Airlines International and Japan Airlines Domestic did operate under the brand name of JAL. In 2006 these two companies merged and Japan Airlines International was formed. JAL is the owner of seven smaller airlines which works as supplementary to JAL mainline flights. The airlines are JAL Express, J-Air, Hokkaido Air System, Japan Air Commuter, Japan Transocean Air, Japan Asia Airways and Ryukyu Air Commuter.
Japan Airlines and its subsidiaries offer a frequent flyer program, JAL Mileage Bank. You can earn points and rewards through this program.There are an elite section of this program called “FLY ON”. The members of JAL Mileage Bank can accrue “FLY ON Points”.
