Royal Jordanian Airlines is an Amman based airline company which renders services to more than four continents. The major hub is Queen Alia International Airport of Amman, Jordan. Royal Jordanian is surely a prominent airline company and it is a member of the oneworld alliance along with the Arab Air Carriers Organization. This airline company was set up on 9th December 1963 and from 15th December of that same year Royal Jordanian started its operations. Royal Jordanian has also been recognized as “Airline Turnaround of the year 2006” by the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation very recently on 9th November 2006.
In India, Royal Jordanian operates only in two centers and they are Indira Gandhi International Airport of New Delhi and Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport of Mumbai. Though Delhi and Mumbai airports are quite landing stations in India but it is desirable that Royal Jordanian will also operate in all the other major metropolitan cities very soon. But we can hardly ignore the fact that Royal Jordanian is promoting India- Jordan tourism with its quality flight services.
