Passenger Information Regarding Travel on Tiger Airways
- Check-in Time: Check-in desks open two hours prior to departure and closes 45 minutes before the scheduled time of flight.
- Baggage Allowance: Tiger Airways allows a baggage allowance of maximum 20 kilograms per passenger in addition to a cabin baggage of maximum 7 kilograms.
- Prohibited Baggage: Tiger Airways prohibits the carriage of explosives, flammable or non-flammable gas, flammable liquids, flammable solids, deeply refrigerated gas, oxidizing materials, organic peroxides, poisons, infectious substances, radioactive materials, corrosive materials, firearms and other weapons etc. on board.
- Use of Electronic Devices: Use of electronic devices like mobile phones are prohibited during flight, as it may interfere with aircraft electronic equipment. However, equipments such as Laptops, CD Walkmans, Digital MP3 Players, Portable DVD Players, Non-Cellular PDAs and Digital Dictaphones may be used onboard Tiger Airways flights after take-off.
- Special Assistance: Limited special assistance to passengers requiring special attention like disabled persons and elderly persons is provided by Tiger Airways on request. Unaccompanied minors who have not completed their 14th birthday are not allowed for travel by Tiger Airways.
- Pets: Tiger Airways does not accept pets for carriage in its airliners.
